We drove into Anchorage on July 12th about 4:00 PM. We did stop along the way from Denali to Anchorage at the Alaska War Memorial and then at Wasilla, home of the Alaskan Iditarod Dog Sled Race from Anchorage to Nome. Very impressive. One of the entrance criteria is to complete the Yukon Quest dog sled race.
