We arrived in Haines on July 30th and had to spend quite a bit of time de-mudding the rigs. The campsite we chose was all grass sites and were told that the mud would form as concrete if we washed the units at the campground so they did not allow it. We went to the South East Alaska Fair in Haines this weekend and saw a greased pig catch. We then moved to the Elks Lodge RV Park for a week and a half or more.
