We came into South Dakota and spent the night at Mitchell where the corn palace is. We toured the palace and then went back to the campground and had a nice dinner prepared by the ladies, Kay and Pat. The next morning we got up early and headed toward Custer where the Crazy Horse monument and Mt. Rushmore are. Before we got to Custer, we toured the Badlands and then on to Wall Drug. It rained most of the day but did quit when we reached the campground the first evening. More pictures will follow as we see more sights here. Paul had taken a nap today while Pat drove their rig in the rain on I-90.

The morning of June 5th we went to the Crazy Horse monument and walked to the top near the head. This was the only 2 days of the year that one could walk up there. On the way to the monument we saw some wild animals along the way.
